As school districts begin to set budget parameters for the coming year, K-12 cybersecurity funding remains highly important. Unfortunately, budget shortfalls are commonplace for a great many districts, and it requires each school district initiative to present a compelling case.  

Regardless of budget challenges, skimping on cybersecurity is not an option, not in this era of digital learning and connected schools. With cyberattacks on schools on the rise, K-12 cybersecurity is a problem that will likely get worse before it gets better.
